The Nutrition and Food Control Division has developed this category to help you with assessment of the nutritional status of children under the age of 5 years. After completing this course, you will be able to do the following:

  1. Understand the importance of Growth Monitoring
  2. Understand the processes of providing growth monitoring services
  3. Understand how to interpret growth curves
  4. Accurately assess and analyse nutritional status of children
  5. Be able to provide Nutrition counselling and support.
  6. Understand data collection tools and reporting.  
  7. Understand supplementary foods distribution and the target groups.
